Race Summary
I felt really comfortable during the opening 5 km and, looking back, probably could have pushed a little harder while still arriving at the bike feeling fresh.
The bike leg was solid and consistent, although I started to fade slightly in the closing kilometres.
As expected, the second run took a little while to find my legs after the bike. Once I settled into the rhythm, I finished strongly and still felt like I had a little left in reserve.
Overall, this was another encouraging performance and an important step in my preparation for the 2026 World Multisport Championships in Abu Dhabi.
How This Race Helps My Abu Dhabi Preparation
This race confirmed that my run fitness continues to improve, especially over the opening 5 km. The race also highlighted that I can continue building strength on the bike while improving my transition back into the second run. Every race provides valuable feedback, and this podium finish gives me confidence as I continue preparing for the 2026 World Multisport Championships in Abu Dhabi.
